I've heard Lee makes pretty good stuff. What exactly is the Lee press made of?the pistolerohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07921719381072311001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33073529.post-91422702573843591392008-04-22T17:49:00.000-05:002008-04-22T17:49:00.000-05:00The consistancey of this press is great. The OAL stayed within a couple thou, good enough for pistol range ammo.John Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09376217483411918789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33073529.post-64807582431570662502008-04-22T11:22:00.000-05:002008-04-22T11:22:00.000-05:00Let us know how it works out; I'm still using an o...Let us know how it works out; I'm still using an old Rock Chucker that I've had for years.BobGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15405172215849046373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33073529.post-7268014831581381992008-04-22T06:37:00.000-05:002008-04-22T06:37:00.000-05:00Unfortunately, my Lee Turret press has become pret...Unfortunately, my Lee Turret press has become pretty much a single stage. For some reason I can't get the turret to advance every time. I ordered a new collar for the main shaft rotating thingie, but to no avail.

However, it hasn't really affected me that much. Turrets are only so fast anyway since they work on a single round at a time.

I've made good ammo so far with the Lee. I've heard some grumblings that the lighter weight materials flex a bit which can throw off accuracy, but being that I'm a plinker / Minute of Bad Guy type shooter, that's never been my main concern.

Soon I'll be using my press in true single stage mode (removing the turning rod altogether) for rifle.

Let us know how it works for you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
