The Religion of Peace?

From the Houston Chronicle:

By Mohamed Osman

KHARTOUM, Sudan — Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, rallied today in a central square and demanded the execution of a British teacher convicted of insulting Islam for allowing her students to name a teddy bear "Muhammad."
Holy Guacamole Batman.

On a positive note, the article mentions quite a few Muslim organizations denouncing the Sudanese government for blowing this all out of proportion.

I can't help but wonder if the angry Sudanese would have been any happier if the teddy bear had been named Jesus.

Somehow, I suspect they would not have.

The angry Sudanese would not do a damn thing if the Teddy Bear was named Jesus. They wouldn't even be angry.

What I'm more concerned with is that this is the SAME COUNTRY where light-skinned Muslims are butchering dark-skinned Muslims and the angry Sudanese aren't doing anything to stop their fellow countrymen from a sin even Muhammad condemned.
