Plane landed around 2310 and we rolled into the driveway after midnight. Off to work this morning and back to the grind for the both of us.
It was a great vacation, too short as is the state of most vacations, but great not the less.
For the most part, the days I was not posting were spent at Laguna Beach. My parents had reserved a block of rooms that accessed a patio for our group of 14. Two solid days of the Arts then back to Oceanside for a day in the surf.
If you enjoy art, then I highly recommend the Summer Arts Festivals at Laguna Beach. We attended the Sawdust Art Festival, The Art-A-Fair, and The Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters. Add to these festivals all the galleries in the area, and you can enjoy one very nice arts vacation.
One big plus is that while it passed 100°F here in North Texas, it barely made 80 while we were visiting the Coastal Cities.
It has been a week since I last mowed the yard, and it is a tad dry, so I'm off to take care of a couple of the duties of home owner.
