  • Century Arms .410 Side by Side Coach gun
I will be there with my wife and brother in law. I have not won a gun in ages, so your chances are pretty good if you show up.

For more information see my earlier post here.

Oh... Sandra Froman, the president of the NRA will also be there. I am going to try and finagle an interview with her at some point during the weekend.

Poor Smith. They keep begging us all not to call the SWVE line Sigma anymore, but memories of the ill-fated Smock are dimming and I don't believe Gaston will sue them again anytime soon.

Crimson Trace grips...you mean the Crimson Trace laser grips? I handled a Commander-size S&W Scandium 1911 at one of the local gun shops one day that had those on them. The laser lined up perfectly with the front sights. I'm not so sure they'd be worth $250 -- I really like my Hogues and think a good pair of tritium night sights are all I'd need -- but they were really cool.

Yes, the laser grips are pricy. Probably would not buy them, but would be cool to win a set (attached to another 1911) in a raffel. Last year they raffeled off a Kimber with the Crimson Trace grips, my wife really liked them.
