Last night V and I went to a Texas Rangers game. It was their opener against the Blue Jays, and an acquaintance had invited us to watch the game from one of the Hall of Fame Suites. She even gave us a front row parking pass, it's kind of hard to pass up an offer like that, even if professional sporting events in Texas are gun free zones by law.
It was a pretty poor performance by the Rangers. A lack of pitching compounded by a surplus of fielding errors made any offensive efforts by the team a moot point. We really enjoy going to Rangers games, but they sure do make it hard to be a fan.
Final score - 8 to 5, Toronto wins.
