Happy 4th of July

Early 1900's Post Card

Firearms, fireworks and sharp objects. How did those early 20th century kids survive without all the nanny state ordinances to protect them?

One local firework show was held last night over Lake Arlington. A good friend took us out on his 22' sail boat to watch the display from the water. You know all is good in the world when you are holding your three year old grand daughter in your lap and are able to share in her amazement at the fireworks exploding over the water.
