I'm really lucky in a couple of ways.

First, my wife while she isn't enthusiastic about shooting sports, she does shoot. She's willing to get her CHL, but we are working on a budget so I'm getting mine first.

Second, she is starting to understand more and supporting more plans for increasing the number of firearms we own. It's just that darn budget thing again. (By the way, if you ever open that gun shop and need some semi-cheap local labor, let me know)

Third, my father in-law is a very generous person. He's offered to help me get set up with re-loading equipment and a bit of a plug here offered a good discount on the class for my CHL.
If anyone in the Arlington area is interested, let me know.

I do think if Obama wins, we'll see a renewed Assault Weapon Ban and some form of additional taxation on firearms. Probably increased excise taxes on firearms and ammunition.
