On This Day...

...1849 Edgar Allan Poe was, in the words of the Raven, "Nevermore".

Thanks to Ballseye's Boomers for his post Today In History - Quoth The Raven, "Nevermore" reminding us of this fact.

In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's life, I'm currently listening to Alan Parsons Project Tales of Mystery and Imagination. It has been awhile.

Hey, thanks my friend.

I LOVE that album. I'd worn my way through a platter and three tapes...the last of which expired some years ago. I hadn't thought about it in quite some time and it never occurred to me to check Amazon (which I'm not overly fond of to begin with) and had no idea that they'd have it in MP3 format.

I'm listening to my newly downloaded $8.99 album as we speak.

You're my hero.
