Plot to Kill Obama Foiled

If this turns out to be as reported, then good on the ATF.

Federal agents have disrupted a plot to assassinate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate dozens of black students in Tennessee, the ATF said Monday.

In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they broke up plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.

A source in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives told FOX News that the two skinheads, who were picked up in Crockett County, Tenn., were plotting to shoot 88 black students and decapitate 14 others described as non-whites. The source said officials believe the suspects were planning to attempt an assassination against Obama.

The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.

But officials could not describe how advanced or credible the plot was, nor could they say if they had contacted the Obama campaign...
Their plan sounds like a Neo-Nazi's wet dream.

I despise what Barack Obama stands for and I fear for our country if he is elected president. But a skinhead assassination attempt on Obama is the worst possible thing that could happen to this country. People would be justifiably angry, and there would be fighting in the streets. The .gov would overreact and impose martial law in several of our major cities. You think the bailout bill went through Congress fast, compared to how quickly they would pass H.R. 1022, the bailout bill was a back burner issue. We would have a new Assault Weapons Ban in less than a week, no matter the firearm used in the assassination attempt.

We can defeat Obama at the ballot box, and if we fail, we can work to limit the damage he may do. Assassinating him is not the answer.

I suspect this plot is overblown. Probably more feeble "what ifs" from drug addled minds than a credible threat.

I can see where the BATF&E would become involved in the potential robbery/burglary of a gun shop, but I certainly question the validity of the story about thwarting an assassination attempt or mass murder. It would seem that the BATF&E might be attempting to brown-nose (there is no racial overtones to this term if one understands its original meaning) into the hearts of the Obamas and their supporters. The BATF&E always flourishes during a Liberal administration.

The ATF hasn't done too bad under this administration.

"Oh..."

His mother pushed for the Assault Weapons Ban (AWB)...

His father pushed for a national waiting period to allow for a slow-motion background check...

He said he would approve an extension of the AWB if it could miraculously slither across his desk...

One has to wonder if the CHL laws he and his brother approved in their respective States were not a de facto registration of some gun owners by deception...

Oh, yeah...

I'm betting it'll be no more than 48 hours before the MSM begins attempts to link skinheads (Aryans, neo-Nazis, whatever) with the NRA.

NRA - National Republican A$$holes??

Now Pops, you know I can't let you get away with that.

Just here in Texas the NRA has endorsed 38 Democrat candidates at the state and federal levels.

I disagree with a few of their endorsements, but they do not just endorse Republican candidates.

This is looking more and more like a photo op and good publicity for the ATF. It appears that the local LEO's had the situation well under control. These two idjits were from the shallow end of the gene pool, hopefully they were caught before they had the chance to breed.

Well, their idea of wearing white tuxes and top hats was at least . . . interesting.

Covering the car with swastikas and stuff in advance might not, in hindsight, have been the best way of ensuring operational security, though.
